Please note this solicitation will not be able to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the US in Republic of Congo will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is on the market. The requirement is for the providing of medical insurance services to the locally hired employees of the US Mission. The estimated number of people to cover is 1,216 (246 Employees, 86 spouses and 884 Children dependent). Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance period is for a base 12 months, with 4 one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will probably be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will probably be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will probably be within the solicitation. All contractors should be registered within the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Subsequently, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. This chance is subject to 52.229-12 – Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021) Electronic Submission/Responses: This chance allows for electronic responses.
