Razorpay expands medical insurance policy to incorporate LGBTQIA+ and live-in partners

CHENNAI: Celebrating Pride Month, payment and banking platform for businesses Razorpay has announced revamping its worker medical insurance policy to incorporate advantages to cover all team members including its LGBTQIA+ teammates, live-in partners, and their families.
Razorpay’s revised medical insurance policy will now include live-in partners, same-gender partners, and those that discover as LGBTQIA+, along with providing other advantages resembling gender reassignment surgery and infertility treatment amongst others.
This initiative has its origins in believing that caregiving shouldn’t be at all times limited to immediate members of the family as done traditionally however it also transcends through our family members, no matter one’s identity, in keeping with the corporate.
