CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — Hundreds of thousands of Americans still struggle with obtaining medical health insurance.

LAW: Fentanyl distribution could turn into chargeable as murder offense

Most Americans get their medical health insurance through an employer, but there are still some who cannot get medical health insurance because they work part time, work multiple jobs, are self-employed, or just because their employer doesn’t provide any worker advantages.

Senator Kaine spoke recently concerning the advantages of the Medicare-X Alternative Act, which might help give Americans an alternative choice for medical health insurance that accommodates to their needs, as a substitute of getting to make use of the exchanges.

“What Medicare-X would do, is it will, it will order the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, CMS, to develop an insurance policy. It’s like a nonprofit insurance policy that they’d placed on the Exchange to compete, so there would just be, we’d just be adding to the Exchange as another option,” said Senator Kaine.
